The Proust Bushland Services team has been working on protecting the ROTAP species Cynanchum elegans in Littoral Rainforest at various locations within the Illawarra. The mature stems of Cynanchum have a fissured corky bark that makes it very distinctive. Cynanchum stems can grow as long as 10m and as thick as 3.5cm!
